This newly created role will support the Group FP&A Manager in advancing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Your primary goal will be to provide financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Enhance Reporting: Maintain and improve the Awanui Reporting Dashboard, ensuring accurate and clear financial reporting.
Partner with IT to develop datasets that support effective decision-making.Support Financial Planning: Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, business planning, and forecasting processes, providing data analysis and actionable insights.Drive Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to operational and financial success.Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to align financial reporting with organizational priorities.Challenge and Refine: Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and propose improvements to processes and tools.An ideal candidate should have:A bachelor's degree in finance or commerce.3-5 years of experience in a commercial finance role.Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Power BI is preferred.Proven ability to work with large datasets and deliver actionable insights.Analytical thinker who asks questions, challenges assumptions, and seeks continuous improvement.Resilient and action-oriented, delivering results with energy and enthusiasm.Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.Self-starter who thrives on solving complex problems and driving outcomes.What's in it for you:Joining Awanui Group means becoming part of a supportive and inclusive work environment that values the growth and personal well-being of its employees.
