We are a small team of people doing amazing things and now we are looking for the next person to join our finance team.As our Financial Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance and project administrative aspects within Lodestone and you will be the key interface with our third-party vendors.This multifaceted position requires a detail-oriented and diligent individual with a strong grasp of financial principles, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will need to collaborate with project teams, operation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution, adherence to budgets, and accurate financial reporting. This role will also play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, managing accounts, and providing essential support to the finance team.This role has plenty of variety and the key responsibilities will include the following:Accounts Payable and ReceivableProject Financials – processing of project costs, progress claims & variationsGeneral ledger and financial records - including reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesPreparing and filing GST and FBT requirementsGeneral administration including system administrationWhat you'll bring to the role:Previous experience in a finance function with large quantities of invoices and accountsExperience in project administration and understanding of construction claims processFamiliarity with construction project management systems such as Procore would be an advantageProficiency in managing multiple software platformsStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.A great work ethic where you can work independently but love being part of a teamTertiary qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management or related field would be an advantage but is not essential.Based in Takapuna, (with some hybrid options available) this is a great role in an innovative business where our people are an integral part of our exciting journey.
