We are seeking a friendly, self-motivated and responsive Financial Data Processing Superstar to join the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu, Shared Services team based in Napier. This is a permanent part time position.
The Anglican Diocese of Waiapu Group has twenty-five parishes, and a range of social services, covering three regions and some thirty-nine thousand square kilometres of the eastern and central North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.

The parishes and social services serve provincial cities and small rural settlements, providing ministry through a variety of forms: vicar-led parishes and local team ministries, hospital chaplaincies, schools, youth projects and social service agencies ranging from early childhood centres to day care centres for the elderly.

Ministry in parishes in the three regions of the DioceseInvestment and property managementSocial Services in various formsThe Financial Data Processing role is responsible for undertaking financial data entry aspects of the Diocesan Group finances. This role will also provide crossover support for data entry and analysis for our Corporate Services team, as required.
The right person will have an aptitude for accuracy, be an autonomous self-starter, excellent relationship skills to work positively and effectively with our diverse team and community, and have intermediate level excel skills. No formal qualifications are needed, but prior experience working with accounting systems and/or a familiarity with a church organisation would be advantageous but not essential.
