We have a fixed term and a permanent position available. The FCC team at ASB leads in the protection of our customers and communities from financial crime and supports the business in mitigating the risks of money laundering, terrorism financing, bribery & corruption, and tax evasion.As a manager, you will help support the L2 FCC Team by identifying and assessing key FCC-related risks and providing guidance and support to key business stakeholders where required.You will act as a subject matter expert for financial crime queries and change initiatives. As a SME, you will need to stay at the forefront of key FCC-related regulatory and industry developments to ensure ASB is well positioned to adapt.You will lead and participate in working groups which aim to implement changes to policies, standards, and draft helpful guidance materials.You will identify and assess the impact of industry developments, regulatory changes, and policy updates, giving due consideration to the impact on risk and control profiles.Success in this role will be the ability to understand and articulate financial crime-related risks, work collaboratively across the organisation, apply a pragmatic approach through a risk lens, and enable the business to understand, proactively manage, and optimise their FCC obligations.Strong experience in Compliance, Risk Management or Audit capacity - preferably in the banking sectorIn-depth knowledge of financial crime risks (including Sanctions) and financial crime legislation and regulationsProven ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisationExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to non-subject matter expertsProven leadership experience with a track record of leading from the front by displaying a positive attitude, high integrity, and empathy towards your team and broader stakeholdersTe mahi ki ASB | Working for ASBIn return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
