Role Overview We are seeking a Financial Controller who demonstrates both leadership and initiative. This role encompasses overseeing financial reporting for management and the board, leading audits of statutory and regulatory statements, and ensuring prudent investment decisions. The Financial Controller will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flows, as well as overseeing payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and tax responsibilities. In essence, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership in financial reporting and management oversight.Direct the audit process for statutory and regulatory statements.Guide budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Oversee payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and tax obligations.Drive improvements and innovations in financial processes.Desired Skills and Experience: Chartered Accountant with substantial experience in senior finance roles.Proficient in NZ IFRS, financial modeling, tax, and internal controls.Proven leadership skills with a talent for fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.Technologically adept, preferably with experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (or a quick learner).Solution-oriented with an ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.Proactive and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Infrastructure or electricity sector knowledge is a must; understanding high-volume asset bases is essential.Application Process: If you are ready to advance your career and make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.
