About the opportunity: We are looking for a new Financial Controller to join the Wynn Williams team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall management of the firm's financial and trust account functions, as well as providing strategic advice and support to the Executive and the Board. The Financial Controller supports the business on a national level and is a key member of the Business Services Leadership team, based in Christchurch. What we are looking for: This is a senior position and requires recent and relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within professional services. Key skills and attributes are as below: Bachelor's degree in commerce (or equivalent) with a CA qualification. Senior level experience in financial and management reporting. Experience managing people and leading a team. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand complex financial business scenarios. Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI skills. Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the firm, board, and partnership.
