Operating as Business Partner with Hotel Leadership team to achieve Financial Performance of the Hotel and F&B venue;Directly accountable for all financial information sent to the General Manager, Accor and Owners in regard to presentation, accuracy and detail;Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports;Ensure that all Management Agreement and Owners Corporation matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner – with accuracy and attention to detail;Assist Department Heads/Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department's profitability;Supply all departments with accurate statistical information on a timely basis;Cooperate with all other departments offering support information on finance matters as required;Develop and monitor all financial systems for the Hotel with a view to improving and streamlining procedures;Ensure that policies and procedures set by Accor are implemented and internal controls are operating effectively;Ensure thorough training and knowledge of all Hotel systems – Opera, Micros, Sun, Purchase Plus, Adobe sign, Currency Select, Online Banking portals, and others as deemed necessary to support the financial and compliance performance of the hotel;In depth knowledge of Employment instruments, HMA and other compliance documentation;Provide strategic oversight into the business across all dimensions of the operation and play an active role in the day to day operations. QualificationsTertiary qualification in Accounting and/ or Finance or Commerce;CA or CPA qualified;Understanding of state and federal legislation for tax, superannuation, long service leave and National Employment Standards;Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Hospitality industry;Excellent accounting software user, desirable previous use of HumanForce, WageEASY, PurchasePlus and Sun;Thorough knowledge and experience of financial accounting principles and procedures including statutory responsibilities.
