About the role We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Financial Controller to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to our Queensland businesses, Cruisemaster and ECB.
Initially, you will manage these companies separately, transitioning to a unified site over time.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly management reports, updating forecasts, and preparing annual budgets to support informed business decision-making.
Additionally, you will ensure full compliance with all tax and statutory obligations.
As a key point of contact, you will address finance queries from the AutoPacific Group Finance Head Office and Amotiv Finance Head Office.

Your responsibilities will include: Develop a solid understanding of the Queensland business and supporting profit improvement initiatives.
Provide management with monthly financials.
Provide financial and non-financial KPI metrics.
Provide departmental expense reports, variance analysis and insightful financial advice.
Set annual labour and overhead rates once Syteline implemented.
Work with the local management team to prepare annual and monthly P&L, working capital and capital expenditure updates which are to be loaded into Syteline and provided to Head Office accompanied with bridges to the prior forecast, budget, prior year and other periods as required.
Preparation of monthly - balance sheet reconciliations, journal processing, sales, EBITA, working capital spend bridges to broadcast budget and prior year.
About you Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting.
Significant experience in a similar financial role.
Manufacturing background is valued but not essential.
Strong business partnering skills with a collaborative approach.
Proficient in core standard costing principles.
Solid business acumen with a strategic mindset.
Sound understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
A curious, adaptable, and growth-focused mindset.
Good communication (both verbal and written) skills.
High attention to detail and takes a data driven approach.
