The RoleWe are looking for a project centric financial accountant with strong financial analysis skills to join our Mt Wellington based finance team in a growing, dynamic, technology centric organisation. The role reports into the Head of Finance and is responsible for working closely with the project delivery teams to provide end to end financial reporting across multiple business units and the group overall. Strong progression opportunities exist via an opportunity to step up to a Finance Manager role in the short to medium term. With a background in accountancy and systems support, the role will champion the ERP system and develop it to its full potential to provide effective, accurate and timely reporting. You will a vital part of the team supporting Tu Atea Network Services Limited companies and involved in: Work closely with the project management teams to perform financial analysis of in flight projectsReview internal processes to drive efficiencyEnsure timely and effective interfaces for other systems including project and managed services invoicingDevelop timely and accurate financial reporting including effective divisional, subsidiary and group reporting Support the development and implementation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, operational KPI's and strategic plansStatutory and legal compliance requirements, filing of annual accounts, income tax and GST returnsWork with the Head of Business Operations to develop and support interfaces such as CRM and time management systemsPayroll managementProcurement and stock managementProject cost controlAsset/network cost controlThe RewardsThe role presents development opportunities for a financial accountant looking for career progression towards a Financial Controller role.
