Position Overview: Reporting to the Head of Product, the purpose of the Financial Analyst role is to provide advanced technical support, along with developing and maintaining Forbury's products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and testing existing Forbury Excel products and for designing, developing and testing new products. You will provide advanced technical product support to customers and will create user-friendly dashboards and insights to be used by Product Managers, UX Designers, and the wider team. Forbury products are all Excel-based Commercial & Retail models, including complex calculations performed by the cloud engine. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop, maintain and test existing Forbury Excel products. 2. Design, develop and test new products. 3. Provide advanced technical product support to customers. 4. Create user-friendly dashboards and insights for Product Managers and UX Designers. Qualifications: This is not your average Financial Analyst role and will require advanced knowledge of Excel financial modelling including building models from scratch and ideally some experience in SQL. Knowledge of the financial and/or valuations modelling theory is essential as this is a technical role which will require you to dig deep into these complex models. The real key to success in this role, however, is the combination of technical skills but also the ability to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will have a curious nature, and you will be motivated to understand issues and problem solve. You may be CFA qualified or working towards this, alternatively you will have a relevant degree in Finance or Mathematics.
