At the heart of this role, you will get to analyse the financial drivers of our business, to support decision making and continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Support will be in the form of month end reporting, weekly reports, business cases, forecasts, and budgeting as well as ad hoc analysis and diagnostics.
This role requires collaboration with the business and other teams within Finance to develop an understanding of the financial accounting and commercial drivers of the business.
As a Financial Analyst, you will: Review and provide analysis of month end results.
Provide monthly management reports, analysis, and interpretation of management information.
Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and business initiative reporting.
Provide insightful commentary on the consolidated forecasts, including key drivers of projected results, risks and opportunities.
What we're looking for: Success in this role is for the team to be truly seen by business partners as a "trusted advisor", providing proactive insights that support decision making.
We'll be impressed by your excellent communication skills, ability to influence management and build strong relationships across the business.
Understanding the big picture, whilst holding a strong eye for detail is important.
Your MS Excel and business writing skills are at an advanced level.
