Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive financial support, reporting, and advice across Acon Group's business entities.
Lead budgeting processes, collaborating with various business areas to develop achievable financial plans.
Enhance financial systems, processes, and capabilities through cross-functional teamwork.
Create financial models to evaluate long-term strategic options in line with organisational goals.
Develop financial policies and strategies that align with overall objectives and support decision-making.
Deliver multi-year financial guidance and reporting to steer strategic planning and performance tracking.
Offer expert advice on investments, financial risks, opportunities, and post-investment evaluations.
Manage end-to-end financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and asset management.
Lead the implementation of financial reporting and tracking systems for robust data collection.
Qualifications: Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems management.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and data inter-relationships within financial systems.
Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset, capable of interpreting complex data to support organisational goals.
Effective communicator, skilled at conveying financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and a high level of proficiency in financial software and Excel.
Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and driving business performance.
Experience leading financial change initiatives and delivering impactful, strategic outcomes.
Preferably a CAANZ member or working towards membership.
