We are a medium-sized team of architects, architectural technicians, and architectural graduates, currently involved in exciting residential and interior projects across high-end residential, multi-unit developments, and apartments.
About the role
We are looking for a financial administration officer to join our busy and growing architectural practice. You will join a young and enthusiastic team, and in this environment, you can continue to learn and develop your skills.
Location of Work: Auckland
Type of employment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Days required: Monday – Friday
Pay: $30 - $33 per hour, based on qualification and experience
Responsibilities:
Recording financial transactions and balancing the books
Cross-referencing the books against bank statements and other source documents to confirm accuracy
Creating and sending invoices, and following up to get them paid
Making sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner
Calculating pay and deductions
Filing GST returns and income returns
Producing annual profit and loss and balance sheet report
Summarising and analyzing the business's financial position
Creating budgets and forecasts, and advising on how to improve the business.
Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time
Key skills required:
Relevant bachelor's degree or above, or at least three years of relevant experience
Strong communication and time management skills
Motivated and with a good understanding of the real estate industry
Good oral and written Mandarin will be required as the majority of our clients are from China
