About The Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to lead our high-performing Financial Accounting team under the guidance of the Financial Controller.
This role involves overseeing the preparation of financial accounts, year-end financial statements, and maintaining robust financial controls.
The Financial Accounting Manager will also be responsible for delivering insightful financial analytics and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Manage a high-performing Financial Accounting team, providing leadership and motivation to meet deadlines.
Prepare accurate financial accounts and year-end financial statements.
Lead Year-End Audit engagements with a focus on technical accounting standards.
Balance technical expertise with a hands-on approach, fostering the development of team members.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and simplification within financial controls.
Provide financial insight through the preparation of timely and accurate financial information.
Skills And Experience Proven technical accounting skills, ideally with an audit background from a Big 4 CA firm or equivalent.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating high-performing teams.
Experience in leading year-end audit engagements.
Ability to balance technical knowledge with practical, hands-on management.
A commitment to building a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge of internal controls and experience in process optimization.
