About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our team based in Manukau, Auckland.
As our Financial Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records by managing and overseeing the financial reporting process. You will work closely with Chief Executive Officer and People, Systems & Administration Manager to deliver timely financial information and contribute to the overall financial health and strategy of the organisation.
Your responsibilities include:
?            Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
?            Monitor and manage debtors, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables.
?            Maintain the fixed assets register, including capitalisation, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
?            Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
?            Work with internal and external stakeholders to monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
?            A degree or equivalent experience in accounting and/or finance.
?            Full and clean Driver's License
?            High level of competency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note etc.) 
?            High competency with Xero and other accounting software
?            Excellent time management and organizational skills.
?            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
?            Attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability.
