If you are an Assistant Accountant looking for your first Financial Accountant role, then please apply to join our finance team in our Auckland HQ in East Tamaki. This is a full-time permanent opportunity in an exciting global FMCG that produces delicious coffee and teas. This role provides meaningful information to support our business management, ensuring transactions are accurate. You will report to our Financial Control Manager NZ.
Are you up for this challenge?
In this role, you will:
Support periodic and year-end reporting consisting of monthly reporting, monthly journals/accruals, GL balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls and treasury management.Manage all bank transactions, reconciliations, cash flow and money transfers.Assist with annual statutory accounts and internal and external audits.Assist in the preparation and completion of our Annual Operating Plan.Drive continuous improvement within the reporting processes and systems and investigate opportunities to automate tasks.QualificationsFor this role as a Financial Accountant, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
