About the Role This temporary role is designed to support the finance team during a critical period of growth and transition. The role is ideal for someone with experience in Xero and manufacturing environments who can add value quickly. Key Responsibilities Assist with the month-end close, including preparation of entries and reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable, processing invoices and payments to vendors. Provide support with accounts receivable and high-value invoicing. Reconcile bank statements, inter-company transactions, and credit cards. Help with basic financial reporting and data entry to maintain accuracy in financial records. Ad-hoc project work. So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile? You must be a fully qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA). Experience in month-end processes and financial reporting. Proficiency in Xero is very helpful. A background in manufacturing or inventory management is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work autonomously and integrate into a fast-paced, dynamic team. Solid understanding of GST and FBT compliance. Whats on offer: A rate of $50-65 GST per hour for an initial 4-6 months. If all goes well and the company continues growing, potential for this to convert to permanent.
