We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Accountant who will report to the Chief Financial Officer. In this role your focus will be on production and management of financial accounting and reporting for organisation's within the RNZFB Group. You will provide support to the CFO in the functions of accounts processing, financial accounting/planning and management accounting. You will be involved in providing financial advice to the business to assist with business case preparation, statutory accounting and provide other financial support to the organisation as required.
This role will require support of the CFO to create an organisation where the RNZFB Group is run efficiently and effectively and demonstrates best practice in systems, processes and business practices. You will support and investigate new and more effective ways to do business, gained from learning from members, staff and international experience.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
A relevant degree and/or working towards CA (or similar) qualification
Strong senior financial or management accounting experience
Previous use of IT accounting systems/software
Strong business acumen, including experience in managing budgets and financial planning relevant to specific areas of the business
Proven ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
