Your new opportunity Our client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, reporting through to a Financial Controller. This position will take ownership of the accounting function for the New Zealand based operations. The role includes two days working from home per week. This organisation operates across Australasia and has long standing contracts ensuring they are stable in all economic climates.
Responsibilities will include: Producing monthly and annual financial statementsMonthly financial reportingCompliance with statutory requirements (GST and FBT returns)Assisting with both internal and external audit processesAssessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviewsWorking collaboratively with AR and AP teamProcess improvement across accounting functions.A full Position Description is available.
Does this sound like you? Along with a minimum of 3 years accounting experience in the commercial space as well as a CA qualification:
