We are oOh!media, and we are unmissable. The Opportunity Our Finance Team are currently on the hunt for a Full Time Permanent Financial Accountant wo will specialise in IFRS16 and Audit. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS16 standards, preparing financial statements, and supporting monthly and annual statutory reporting. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and the ability to work with complex, non-homogeneous datasets. This is a very hands-on role and you will be the company expert on all things leases. Key Responsibilities: ·IFRS16 Compliance: Oversee the implementation and ongoing compliance with IFRS16 standards. Ensure accurate reporting and disclosure of lease-related financial information. ·Financial Statement Preparation : Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Prepare consolidated balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. ·Monthly Reporting :Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts. Assist in the development of financial forecasting and budgeting. Provide variance analysis and explanation for financial performance against budget and prior periods. ·Statutory Accounting : Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with the financial reporting framework. Liaise with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and resolve audit queries. ·Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting. Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. ·Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other finance team members to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and CA/CPA/CIMA qualification is essential. External reporting experience, preferably in a big 4 firm or large ASX-listed entity. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Thorough understanding of IFRS16 standards and their application. Ability to work with complex and diverse datasets.
