Currently, we are looking for an Intermediate Accounting Software Analyst to join us in delivering OnAccount to clients in NZ and abroad.
Ideally, we are looking for a unicorn who is well-versed in SQL and transactional accounting.
For the right person, this unique role offers plenty of variety and scope to develop.
This role is well suited to someone who has worked as a technical systems accountant or a hands-on accounting software consultant.
To excel, you will have the following:
Hands-on experience working with SQL is a must; writing queries and stored procedures, and working with databases; You have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting and are comfortable conversing in accounting jargon, the language of debits and credits; You may have some broad work experience in Accounting and Finance teams; You are comfortable with Windows, web apps, Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace. As part of the OnAccount team, you will mainly focus on the technical aspects of new customer implementations and customised system configurations.
You will bring your analytical skills to the table, understand client needs, use SQL to work with tables and relationship fundamentals, and write stored procedures to enhance their systems.
Through this, you will enjoy fulfilling client interactions and having a real impact on the services we provide.
You will have both the ability to come up with innovative ideas and the drive to make those ideas come to life.
