This interesting organisation, with household name brands, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance team and collaborating with colleagues across Corporate Accounting here in NZ and Offshore. Reporting to the Financial Controller, and leading a team of 3 you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting in this hands-on yet strategic role. This role may suit a candidate who is looking to step up to Finance Manager level, or a seasoned Finance Manager looking for a change.
Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results across all divisions.Maintain and update budget/forecast templates & modelsPrepare variance commentariesSupervise and mentor 3 direct reports in the transactional accounting teamEnsure timely and accurate regulatory (statutory/taxation) returns and reportingCollaborate with Commercial Analyst to create financial presentations for management meetingsManage statutory audits, including interim and year end auditsWork with Reporting Accountant on timely quarterly reporting requirementsBuild strong relationships with operations, sales, supply, and finance teamsIdentify financial and operational risks and advise on mitigation strategiesAd-hoc projects and reportsAbout you: 6+ years in financial and management accounting rolesStrong knowledge of IFRS/US GAAPExperience in medium or large multinational firmsProficient in reconciliation of complex general ledger accountsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English, with excellent communication and time managementAdvanced Excel skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, with strong leadership and mentoring skillsApply NowTo apply for this position, or for more information please submit your information and CV to the Recruiter below;
