We are truly committed to making a positive difference.We have a fantastic 12 month fixed term for an experienced Process Analyst to jump onboard our finance transformation and as we move into our new ways of working in Finance. In this role you will:Support the finance team with process development, documentation, implementation, monitoring, and adjustment as required.Support the finance transformation by keeping across emerging technologies and supporting the finance team to adopt new tools and processes.Assist with report design and analysis for the finance team.Support the Head of Finance Experience to train finance staff on new process and technologies.Keep up to date and accurate documentation of finance process, procedure, and policy documentation.Assist with or run business process improvement workshops as required.Support the timely and accurate execution of everyday finance functions such as month and year-end reporting and Business Unit financial performance reporting.Act as a back-up for the Financial Systems Specialist role.Provide assistance to the Head of Finance Experience for other specific projects and duties as required from time to time.In this role you will bring:Circa 5 years Finance experience across a broad range of processesSignificant, proven business process improvement experienceSelf-starter with good initiativeHigh attention to detailWillingness to learn and work in a team settingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to adapt to changing business needs and learn new technologiesStrong social and communication skills to engage with the businessStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial dataProficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills, and financial software (ERP systems)We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:Training and development opportunitiesLife and income protection insurance plansGenerous parental leaveEmployee discounts at a range of large retailersMe pehea te tono mai | How to ApplyThis role is open to applications from current Watercare employees.
