Finance Partner RNZ has afantastic opportunity for a Finance Partner - Planning & Performance.Joining our small but high performing finance team, you will contributesignificantly to the organisation's strategic objectives by overseeingfinancial planning and analysis, as well as having a strong business partneringfocus.
Reportingdirectly to the CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring financialsustainability and supporting RNZ's strategic objectives.
As a trusted financial partner, youwill work with the Leadership team to support RNZ appropriately funding itsstrategic aspirations.
Te Mahi – About the job Keyresponsibilities in this role will include: Assistingin the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, andforecasts aligned with RNZ's strategic goals Conductingfinancial analysis, variance analysis, and performance reporting to supportdecision-making processes Monitoringand reporting on financial performance and the provision of monthly andquarterly financial management statements Assistingin the development and maintenance of a comprehensive 5-year financial model tofacilitate long-term strategic planning and forecasting Assistin the development and management of detailed cashflow models to ensureliquidity and optimize cash management strategies Provideanalytical support for capital expenditure (capex) planning, including ROIanalysis and budget allocation recommendations.
Liaisewith internal stakeholders across departments to provide financial insights andsupport effective resource allocation Contributeto the development of a Finance Strategy and delivery of initiatives within thestrategy.
This is a true financepartnering role, where you will collaborate with leadership to optimise costefficiency while ensuring the achievement of RNZ's strategic objectives.
It is essentialthat you are customer centric at your core, assisting our managers to meetbudgets, and ensuring you understand how the budgeting, planning andperformance processes work at RNZ.
BeCA Qualified, with a relevant tertiary qualification in a commercial orfinancial management discipline Provenexperience (5+ years) in financial planning, analysis, and performancemanagement roles, preferably within a media or broadcasting environment Strongunderstanding of financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and reportingsystems Experiencein budget preparation, financial analysis, and variance analysis.
Ahigh level of proactiveness with the ability to think outside of the square,supporting the business to achieve its' strategic outcomes Excellentanalytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data andprovide actionable insights.
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectivelycollaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proactiveand results-oriented approach, with the ability to think strategically andsolve problems creatively.
Proficiencyin financial management software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Abilityto work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meetdeadlines.
