We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co-create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.YOUR ROLEThe Finance Operations Administrator at our Rosedale offices is responsible for providing comprehensive Inventory Control and Trial Balance (TB) reporting, including billing for one of our customer contracts. This role also serves as a backup for Accounts Receivable (AR) and manages part of the Purchase Order (PO) process.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Generate and distribute daily reports, including Weighted Average Cost (WAC), Shipment, and Revenue ReportsUpdate shipping files, process Works Orders, make WAC corrections, and review cost variancesPerform weekly Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNl) / Accounts Payable reconciliations and journals, and update Item MasterPrepare monthly revenue accruals, compile reporting packs, and prepare 3PL Invoices, including obtaining Purchase Orders (PO) from our customerReconcile General Ledger (GL) vs ESN files, manage returns analysis, MSCA controls, wash-up charges, and handle month-end accruals, prepayments, and other CLS reportsAddress ad hoc requests from our customer for WAC changes, sale price updates, and general queriesExtract JDE process data for inventory and cycle count adjustmentsRaise and submit POs in APOC, including invoice codingPerform specific GL reconciliations and assist the Finance team in meeting reporting deadlinesSupport the AR team during busy periods.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Our ideal candidate has experience working as an inventory controller or assistant account in a medium-large sized business together with:NCEA Level 3 or equivalentCompetent in MS Office applications, particularly Word and ExcelEffective planning, prioritization skills, and proven ability to work to strict deadlinesExcellent communication skills with strong attention to detailCollaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to workBonus: tertiary / vocational qualification in accounting, finance, or related.In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options.Professional development: your growth is essential to us.
