Position Overview: We are seeking for my clients Wellington region office an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager or Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience managing a finance team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance and accounting team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with New Zealand financial regulations.Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities.Ensure the company complies with tax obligations, financial laws, and regulations.Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.Manage the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors.Support business growth through financial planning and risk management.Key Requirements: CA or CPA or equivalent preferred.5+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.In-depth knowledge of financial regulations in New Zealand.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Excel.Experience working with senior stakeholders and providing financial strategy.What We Offer: Competitive salary package with health insurance.Flexible working options.Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing and innovative company.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Career growth and development opportunities.Relocation package on offer.How to Apply: If you are a motivated financial leader looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment then please send your CV and cover letter quoting JMALI.
