The Position As Finance Manager—Reporting, you will collaborate closely with the Finance Manager—Operations, and report directly to the CFO. In this key role, you will oversee financial performance, and management reporting, strongly emphasising streamlining processes and enhancing reporting accuracy. Your insights will drive the delivery of timely, actionable information to support informed decision-making and contribute to the successful execution of CHT's strategic goals. You will have a team reporting to you, consisting of a Business Analyst, an Accountant (who oversees the payroll team), and an Accounts Assistant. Key Responsibilities Provide management and financial reports, statistics, forecasts, and other key information essential for effective financial control and management of the organisation. Lead the timely preparation of accurate, consolidated annual budgets through effective planning, resource coordination, and monthly forecasting. Serve as a finance business partner to Care Home Managers, supporting informed decision-making. Drive the identification and implementation of process improvements and supplier relationship enhancements to deliver greater value to the business. Oversee the preparation of the annual report, financial statements, and service performance reporting. Manage the monitoring and reporting of fixed assets and capital expenditure. Provide financial input on CHT projects, including business case support and scenario modelling. Participate in the Treasury Management Group to help shape and execute CHT's treasury management strategy. Support the development of CHT's accounting policies and ensure that accounting practices comply with organisational policies and accepted standards. Contribute to the Trust's efficient management by actively engaging in planning, decision-making, and review processes.
