In this pivotal role, you will lead the MA Services Finance team, overseeing financial compliance across multiple funding programmes and supporting OFC Member Associations (MAs) in maintaining financial integrity.
You will also collaborate with key stakeholders, manage donor reports, and ensure accurate financial reporting in alignment with OFC requirements.Join us, in our Auckland location, as our Finance Manager!Key Responsibilities include:Manage and mentor the MA Services Finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.Ensure harmonized processes, tools, and frameworks for funding programmes across the organisation.Oversee the financial compliance of MAs with OFC's funding requirements and programmes.Develop and deliver capacity-building activities (e.g.
workshops, webinars) for MAs.Lead the implementation of the Central Audit Review Programme, ensuring financial reporting meets OFC standards.Prepare financial reports for OFC's senior management, audit committees, and donors.Ensure donor funds are allocated and managed as intended.Analyse and report on MA financial statements and audit reports, providing monthly updates to internal stakeholders.Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Represent OFC in a professional manner in all communications with MAs, auditors, and other funders.Skills and ExperienceTertiary Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (bachelor's level).CA/CPA qualification or actively working towards certification.5 years' experience in accounting, preferably within a not-for-profit or international organisation.Strong experience in team management, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams.Familiarity with audit procedures and financial compliance requirements.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Attention to Detail and accuracy in financial reporting.Strong Communication Skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.Relationship Management, with a focus on developing strong, collaborative relationships.Leadership and Teamwork, with the ability to inspire and guide others to meet the organisation's goals.Project Management Skills and the ability to work on multiple projects while meeting deadlines.Discover the perks of joining OFC in this key fixed-term positionAn annual salary of between $95,000 and $100,000Working hours usually being 40 hours each week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours each weekWe offer all our permanent employees the flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home 2 days per week.
