Join First Table as our Finance Manager in beautiful Queenstown! Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations whilst driving improvement in systems and processes to support our growth and providing crucial support to the management team in the delivery of sustainable revenue growth and the optimisation of key metrics and profitability.
About Us First Table is a restaurant discovery platform operating in New Zealand, Australia and the UK with a mission to create and deliver delightful restaurant booking experiences connecting diners and restaurants. Having already organically built a strong presence in New Zealand, in 2023 First Table undertook its first external capital raise enabling it to expand its product and sales teams and increase its investment in marketing. Subsequently, all of our markets have entered an exciting phase of growth, which we continue to build on.

Key Responsibilities While you will still have plenty of room for development, you'll be given responsibility, from compliance to overseeing finance operations to providing insightful, value-added reporting and analysis, forecasting, and supporting the CFO on strategic projects. You'll play the lead in developing our systems and processes to take the finance function to another level and be a key business partner.
Qualifications We are looking for a qualified or near qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in rapidly evolving start-up or online marketplace environments where you have demonstrated a wide range of skills from systems/process improvement to providing meaningful, actionable insight. Whilst strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management is a given, you'll also be curious and data-driven, valuing team collaboration and communicating effectively across all levels whilst being comfortable using data to challenge and influence when necessary.
