Company Description Cardrona Distillery is a world-leading artisan distillery located in the Cardrona Valley, between Queenstown and Wanaka. We produce exceptional whiskies, vodka, gins and liqueurs and distribute throughout New Zealand and globally. Role Description: Monthly Financial Reporting Preparation of all Monthly Reporting in accordance with Group reporting requirements Support Accounts Manager and respective teams through monthly stocktake work Preparation of monthly Finance dashboard Assist in monitoring monthly cashflow vs budget and remaining financial year Additional financial analysis requests as required Debtor and creditor Management Management and control of cash receipts and payments, working with Accounts Manager, including: Timely and accurate issue of all customer invoices Timely and accurate payments of all bills Timely and accurate issue of all direct debit authorities Managing customer credit control process including managing overdue accounts receivable Checking and entering of debtors and creditors ready for CFO approval Taxation Prepare quarterly Fringe Benefit tax return for review Prepare GST by geography (e.g. VAT or GST, in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom) for review Annual Budget Assist in the preparation of the Group Annual Budgets in accordance with Group reporting guidelines. Annual Accounts Assist in management of company financial audit (September year end) Assist in timely and accurate delivery of company records for preparation of Annual NZ IFRS Financial Statements in accordance with Group reporting guidelines. External Relationships Tax office in relevant jurisdiction (e.g. IRD) External Accounting Firm New Zealand Customs Accounting and stock keeping software providers Company Filings Ensure all company filings are completed on time by geography – e.g. Companies Office in New Zealand, Companies House in United Kingdom. Administration: General keeping of company records Keeping of Building Warrant of Fitness documents Requirements – Skills, Qualifications & Experience Fully qualified professional chartered accountant Advanced user of Excel with financial modelling experience Experience with Xero. SAP Experience would be a bonus for a move to SAP in the future.
