We produce exceptional whiskies, vodka, gins and liqueurs and distribute throughout New Zealand and globally.Role Description: Monthly Financial ReportingPreparation of all Monthly Reporting in accordance with Group reporting requirements Support Accounts Manager and respective teams through monthly stocktake workPreparation of monthly Finance dashboardAssist in monitoring monthly cashflow vs budget and remaining financial yearAdditional financial analysis requests as requiredDebtor and creditor ManagementManagement and control of cash receipts and payments, working with Accounts Manager, including:Timely and accurate issue of all customer invoicesTimely and accurate payments of all billsTimely and accurate issue of all direct debit authoritiesManaging customer credit control process including managing overdue accounts receivableChecking and entering of debtors and creditors ready for CFO approvalTaxationPrepare quarterly Fringe Benefit tax return for reviewPrepare GST by geography (e.g. VAT or GST, in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom) for reviewAnnual BudgetAssist in the preparation of the Group Annual Budgets in accordance with Group reporting guidelines.Annual AccountsAssist in management of company financial audit (September year end)Assist in timely and accurate delivery of company records for preparation of Annual NZ IFRS Financial Statements in accordance with Group reporting guidelines.External Relationships Tax office in relevant jurisdiction (e.g. IRD)External Accounting Firm New Zealand CustomsAccounting and stock keeping software providersCompany FilingsEnsure all company filings are completed on time by geography – e.g. Companies Office in New Zealand, Companies House in United Kingdom.Administration:General keeping of company recordsKeeping of Building Warrant of Fitness documentsRequirements – Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceFully qualified professional chartered accountantAdvanced user of Excel with financial modelling experienceExperience with Xero. SAP Experience would be a bonus for a move to SAP in the future.Manufacturing cost accounting beneficial but not essentialAudit experience is beneficial but not essentialQualitiesStrong commercial acumenSelf-starter and willing to go above and beyond to ensure the job is completedStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritiseAnalytical skillsetGood attitude
