A great opportunity for a Finance Manager to leverage their skills into an exciting financial leadership role, part of the Senior Leadership Team and responsible for all financial aspects of a high performing business.
You will be a dynamic person, interested in understanding the entire business, and how finance can support operations and aggressive growth. You will take pride in, not only a well run and efficient finance division but also enabling the Management team to make well informed decisions based on the quality of insights and commentary provided in all reporting.
This role requires a candidate with strong financial experience to play a pivotal role in supporting key decision making to drive profitability whilst tightly managing all financial and operational metrics and running high volume AP/AR/Credit control functions.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in running all aspects of a finance department for a business with an international supply chain and experience in working with senior management teams and providing board and other external stakeholder reporting.
Reporting to the COO, this role provides great growth opportunities for someone looking to develop towards CFO.
Job tasks and responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Full Balance Sheet, P&L and Cashflow analysis, insights and reporting
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to key stakeholders and ensure compliance is in place
Scenario planning and modelling to inform/lead key business decisions
Support COO/CEO in strategic decision making
Finance functions Invoicing, AP/AR/Credit Control
General ledger reconciliations
Wages, FBT, GST
Cash flow management
Continual improvement in finance processes and system functionality
Business Operations Support Margin analysis and improvement
Inventory value analysis
Reporting P&L/Balance Sheet reporting and analysis
Cash Flow projections
Forecasting analysis
Business and divisional budgeting, tracking and forward projections
Management and tracking of other key metrics in the business
Skills and experience CA or CMA qualified is desirable
2+ years running all aspects of a finance department
Experience with international supply chains
Retail or apparel experience preferable
Strong communicator at all levels of the organisation
Strong team leadership and people management skills
Advanced excel ability
Highly organised
