The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a critical role providing technical financial expertise to the business and ensuring that results are reported accurately and on time.
The Finance Manager will lead and support the finance team by working with them to problem solve any issues, improve and streamline processes, and empower them to grow their skills and knowledge. Dairyworks is a fast paced, continually evolving organisation with a very flat structure, and offers the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Team and the wider business.
On the flip side, you will need to be a team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail to help your team at busy times.
You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, a high level of attention to detail, a passion for continuous improvement and excellent people leadership skills.
There is plenty of scope for enhancement and improvement, along with various larger projects that you will have the chance to get involved in.

The Person: To be successful, along with superior technical accounting skills, you will have an inquisitive nature and will be a natural problem solver.

You will be driven to "make life easier" for the teams you are supporting and for the finance team, and you will continuously identify opportunities as well as risks, ensuring they are managed appropriately.
There is plenty of scope to make improvements, so a desire to continuously challenge and improve is fundamental. We would like to hear from candidates who are looking to move out of a Senior Manager role within a Big 4 firm, or an established Finance Manager with a strong background in technical accounting and people leadership.
You will be a capable leader who thrives on sharing skills and knowledge with others, and who will support the business to learn and improve efficiencies. You will be someone who is able to have a good laugh, as well as being able to build strong relationships within the business.
You will also need to be well organised with a high level of initiative and drive and the ability to meet deadlines.
