Our services span strategic advice, to project management and project planning, through to land development including surveying, civil engineering and resource consenting.The Opportunity:We have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Manager to join us and play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the financial strategy of the business. This role also offers an opportunity to lead and influence business direction and strategy in a small team of dedicated people.Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a critical part in aligning financial initiatives with business strategic goals. We'll need your expertise in financial management, fiscal analysis and forecasting. You'll also be collaborating and contributing to Inovo's sister company Hierarchy Group.Key responsibilities:Responsible for full financial function, including invoicing, cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, banking, annual accounts and audit.Lead, mentor and grow a small talented finance team.Financial analysis to monitor trends, provide insights and guide strategy.Assessing financial risks and opportunities.Collaboratively setting financial goals and tracking progress.Provide financial leadership and support across other functions of the business.Being an active member of our operational Senior Leadership Team.Identify and proactively manage financial risks through robust fiscal analysis, statutory reporting obligations and best practices.About You:This is a rare chance to make a real impact with a successful privately owned consultancy company. We're looking for someone with expert knowledge of financial processes and systems. To succeed in this role, you'll also need:A tertiary qualification in either Finance, Accounting, or a Business discipline.A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance.Excellent Microsoft Office and Xero skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Proven leadership and management abilities.Superb written and verbal communication skills.Ability to make decisions under pressure.Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.Working at Inovo:We are professional, hardworking people.
