You will lead a talented team of accountants, prepare the group's consolidated accounts, and drive opportunities to standardise processes organisation-wide, directly impacting the financial decisions and daily workflows of the business.This position offers you the chance to engage deeply with the business units, stress-testing and refining financial data to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices. The business boasts an already impressive and growing network across the region, with a continued focus on expanding to maximise their opportunities.The RoleLead and mentor a small team of accountants, supporting their growth and professional development, including those working towards professional qualification.Prepare the consolidated accounts for review by the financial controller, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Engage with various business units to stress-test financial information, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to best practices.Identify, develop, and implement standardised financial procedures across the business.Oversee and manage third-party processes, including coordinating with external auditors and liaising with banks and other service providers where required.Your ProfileDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly desirable.Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally with experience preparing consolidated accounts.Be keen to further your leadership capabilities within a supportive environment.Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders to ensure financial data integrity.Familiarity with financial best practices and procedures, as well as experience in managing third-party relationships such as external auditors and banking institutions.A proactive approach with a passion for process improvement and standardisation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.For a confidential discussion about this role, please contact Christopher Cluse on 022 0717 812 or apply via the link below.
