What are we looking for?
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a dynamic and driven Finance Manager to work in this high performing NZX listed business.
You'll be responsible for leading the finance function for the pharmacy division of the business, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key stakeholders include the GM, Head of Group Finance, CFO, and the rest of SLT.
We are looking for a technically strong, ideally Big 4 trained CA/CPA qualified accountant who has proven experience in the commercial world, including staff management experience.
Main duties of the role... Leading and developing a growing finance team (5 direct reports which include a mix of accountants and assistant accountants)Business Partnering across the groupProvide analysis and commercially sound commentary and insight on monthly performanceContinuous operational improvementsMonthly reporting and consolidationsPresentation of divisional results to CFO and CEOM&A accountingAnalysis of year-end financial accountsEnsuring all tax and statutory returns are completed on timeWho are you and what is your profile?
To be considered for this role we are looking for a technically competent CA/CPA qualified accountant, Big 4 trained or commercially trained with complex group structure experience.
We are looking for someone who has good experience across process and operational improvements, with proven leadership and business partnering experience.
A background in either retail or multi-site environments would also be a key advantage for this role.
