Full timeThis Finance Manager role at PlaceMakers is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial leadership as well as project & team management. This role is a hands-on leadership role where you'll not only have a strong focus on financial accounting and reporting but also partner with the wider Branch Accounting team and lead projects with a wide range of stakeholders in PlaceMakers.As the Finance Manager you will also assist the Head of Finance with ensuring that the business has its key processes and controls are operating effectively and continuously improved and streamlined.Here are some key highlights:Leadership: You'll lead & coach as a Finance leader at the support office in Penrose, with 4 direct reports.Financial Reporting: Strong focus on financial reporting and co-leading the finance accounting function for the support office and branch network.Team Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and development to help your team reach their full potential.Collaboration: Lead projects collaborating with stakeholders at different levels and locations whilst contributing to the team culture and operational excellence.This role will be based full time from our Support office in Penrose.About you:Qualifications: Ideally CA qualified or qualified by experience, with extensive experience in financial leadership and project management.Skills: Strong influencing skills, big picture mentality, and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.Experience: Over 10 years in financial/management accounting, with a proven track record of creating high-performing teams.Attributes: Effective time management, great communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across the business.Competitive Salary: Along with staff-buying privileges.Fletcher Building Group Benefits: Including paid parental leave and a share scheme.Education Fund: Access to an Employment Education Fund.Health & Wellbeing: Initiatives including an Employee Assistance Programme.Join Us:We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
