About the Role: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, we are seeking a highly experienced and capable Finance Manager responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organisation, and managing budget preparation and reporting.
This includes working closely with and building positive and effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the strategic goals of GDV.
Leading a small team of dedicated staff delivering support for the Finance, Accounts and Payroll responsibilities.
This is a permanent, full time, on-site role.
Financial Accounting, Budgets and Reporting Process Improvements Team Management Business Partnering Compliance About You: Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in accounting.
Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Knowledge, Skills & Previous Experience Previous experience as a finance manager preferably in a medium size not for profit.
Sound understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and legislative requirements.
Excellent people leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to present financial information to a range of stakeholders in a meaningful manner.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Track record of partnering with business to deliver financial and management accounting services.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel in particular.

Lived experience as a person with a disability and/or supporting a person with a disability is highly valued.
