Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager to lead our finance function and ensure the smooth management of our financial operations. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will oversee a small team and be responsible for Finance, Treasury, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance, and managing relationships with external Auditors and Accountants. This is a hands-on role with a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.Oversee Treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash flow management, liquidity planning, and risk management.Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations, policies, and procedures, including ongoing monitoring and reporting.Manage external relationships with auditors, accountants, and financial institutions.Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and controls.Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors during the audit process.Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of growth and development.Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Fund Management or Non-Bank Lending industry, or experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.Strong understanding of financial reporting (including IFRS9 & IFRS 15), treasury, and AML/CFT compliance in a regulated environment.Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent).Proven ability to manage external relationships with auditors, accountants, and financial institutions.Excellent leadership and team management skills with a hands-on approach.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment and handle multiple priorities.Proficiency in financial systems and software.What We Offer: A competitive salary and benefits package.The opportunity to work in a growing company with a collaborative and supportive culture.Scope for career progression, including the potential to evolve into an executive-level role as the business expands.How to Apply:
