About the Role Join one of the largest essential infrastructure service providers in Australia and New Zealand.
Full-time permanent role, hybrid working opportunity, based in Mitcham, VIC.

Key Responsibilities Lead a team in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and financial reporting systems, in line with company policies and required timelines.
This includes revenue recognition, cost accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor and optimise performance against targets, including revenue, EBITDA, net working capital and operating cash flow.
Prepare analysis and reporting to meet internal and client financial reporting requirements and support decision-making.
For example, developing financial and operational Power BI dashboards, monthly performance reviews (variance analysis), KPI data calculation and reporting.
Participate in regular contract reviews and provide insights into contract performance, risk and opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
Perform annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
Collaborate with client contacts to resolve queries and complete deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
Drive continuous improvement in the completion of end-to-end processes, including purchase to pay, order to cash, recruit to onboard, and payroll.
Lead and develop direct reports, harnessing individual and team capabilities to deliver project outcomes.
About You To be successful in the role of Finance Manager, you should have the following skills and experience: Tertiary qualification in accounting CA or CPA qualified Proven experience within a project accounting environment, experience with high-volume projects favourable Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and direct reports Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management and all levels of the project delivery team SAP experience required Power BI skills highly favourable Experience with financial analysis and modelling favourable What's on Offer Joining the Ventia Finance team, you will become part of our Finance Academy initiative.
