Job Description
The position is responsible for providing inputs on financial and regulatory parameters to the 'Director Finance Hotel Operations' to enable him to take key financial decisions. The position is also responsible for managing the financial reporting process for India and South Asia along with preparation and dissemination of Hotel KPIs, managing the hotel budgeting process, and assisting the Corporate leadership in business analysis of the hotels.
Enabling Senior Management to make data-backed business decisions by providing monthly inputs on Key Financial indicators.Ensuring forecast accuracy is within acceptable norms & seeking reasons for variances, tracking no significant variances in long-term forecasting trends.Ensuring hotels are compliant with various major regulatory requirements. Develop and circulate memos/notes to guide hotels, ensuring compliance through reviews.Resolution of technical queries on accounting at hotels raised by owners' Statutory/Internal Auditors when referred by the management.Managing hotel finance reporting by coordinating closely with hotel Finance Heads to ensure timely month-end closures, accurate month-end uploads through review of uploads, and guiding hotels in case of any errors. The role also involves guiding hotels to ensure repetitive issues in monthly closing are not repeated.Provide desired information, resolve queries, and coordinate with the Regional Office.Providing hotels with key presentation decks to be used for their Owner's review & mid-year review. Qualifications
Chartered Accountant / MBA with 5-6 years of experience in Hospitality Accounting System.Expert knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, USALI, Direct & Indirect Taxes, data analysis, MIS, etc.Knowledge of Macros / VBAs.Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint. Additional Information
