About YOUR new employer:We are excited to be partnering with a progressive global multi-strategy investment manager that continues to grow and outperform the market.
They are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven individual to work in this dynamic environment.
About YOUR new job:In this newly created role, you will take full ownership of the entire corporate accounting function reporting directly to the Executive and working collaboratively with the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Investment Officer, and the investment management team to deliver insights and drive robust financial control activities.
This is an excellent broad role that suits a hands-on Finance Manager who thrives in a start-up environment and who can work independently and effectively.
Hands-on role performing and managing the corporate accounting function which includes but is not limited to profit and loss reporting, balance sheet, reconciliations, cash flow management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Manage the outsourced fund administrator.
Tax compliance.
Preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll, and Corporate Income tax returns.
Collaborate with the broader business to deliver insights and drive robust financial control activities to support the achievement of strategic, financial, and operational objectives of the Group.
Compliance and regulatory reporting.
Knowledge of compliance and financial reporting requirements as part of the AFSL is essential.
Process Improvement.
Drive initiatives to improve systems & processes across the business.
Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation.
About YOU!• CA/CPA Qualified with proven capability in financial accounting and reporting.
Sound technical ability and knowledge.• Ideal: Experience working in a financial control role for a corporate in funds management.• Encouraged: Manager-level experience in a chartered firm (e.g., audit, transaction advisory, tax, accounting) with funds management knowledge.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate.• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and engage with multiple stakeholders.• Can Do.

Adept in using ERP systems.
Knowledge of Xero is preferred.
