Is this your next role? You'll manage a portfolio of commercial customers that are experiencing varying levels of financial distress and credit risk deterioration. You'll initiate and implement an effective relationship management strategy with a view to either rehabilitate the customer or exiting over an agreed timeline. You'll work jointly with our team's pool of analysts to help you manage your portfolio including assistance with administration and credit risk duties. This role is Auckland based; however, for the right candidate, this role can be located in another Heartland office.

You may be currently working in a rural relationship management role seeking the next step in your career within Risk.
You're a pro: 5 or more years of experience in rural banking, business banking, finance company or accounting backgroundStrong relationship management, lending and credit risk experienceStrong knowledge of the relating regulatory framework particularly the relevant policies held within the Companies Act, Personal Property Securities Act, and Property Law ActSound knowledge of accepted credit processes and policy in a banking or finance environmentComprehensive understanding of problem credit accounts and relevant remedies and actionsCredit restructuring and/or insolvency experience preferred, including managing professional advisorsA bit about us and what we do Heartland is an NZX/ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
