The Opportunity
Reporting through to the CFO, this is a critical role providing technical experience and leadership to a small finance function, ensuring that results and reporting in a timely and accurate manner, utilising your strong technical accounting knowledge and people leadership experience.

This role would be well suited to someone coming out of a Senior Manager role within Big 4, or an established Finance Manager with a strong background in technical accounting and people leadership.

The Role
Reporting to the CFO your core duties will include;
Provision of timely, accurate and robust financial analysis and reporting to the SLT & Executive team
Leading, coaching and developing a small finance team made up of qualified CA's and Accounts Support staff
Providing support to the CFO in the governance of corporate activities, developing the Board packs and coordinating Board meetings
Regular engagement with the divisional operations team, ensuring queries are promptly handled and that feedback on performance is relayed
Act as a key point of contact for a range of external stakeholders including investors, banks, auditors, tax advisors and valuers
Where required, provide support to the wider finance function on projects, reporting or changes as they arise
Your Profile
CA qualified with a strong technical accounting background that includes IFRS and taxation knowledge
Be a capable people leader who is able to balance meeting timelines with ongoing coaching and development
A strong communicator and confident in presenting information to both operational leaders and the corporate leadership teams
Have a good understanding of corporate governance and always be looking at opportunities to improves processes and or controls
