Ko ta matou mahi - Our Role
This role offers an entry-level pathway into the multi-faceted Kainga Ora Finance environment. You will get exposure to work with Management and Treasury Settlements team and will get to support a variety of team functions:
Handle ad hoc projects: Engage in various ad hoc projects as they arise, taking a proactive approach to support the team's objectives and contribute to their successful completion.Coordinate activities across teams: Act as a central point of contact and coordination, facilitating seamless collaboration, communication, and workflow management across different teams.Lead admin reconciliation and improve accuracy of data collation process: Take ownership of administrative reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of collected data, and implementing measures to enhance data collation processes.Support management and project accountants with capitalization and reporting: Collaborate closely with management and project accountants to support capitalization efforts and facilitate accurate and timely reporting.Lead analysis work: Take charge of conducting comprehensive analyses, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Unpick complex processes and document process improvements: Demonstrate the ability to unravel intricate processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and document the recommended improvements for future reference and implementation.You will have the opportunity to work with people who share a passion for Finance and making a positive difference to 'Building lives and communities by Housing New Zealanders'
