This not-for-profit organisation focuses on supporting low-income families, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups. Through partnerships with local governments and community groups, they play a key role in enhancing social and environmental well-being in the Canterbury region.

Your responsibilities:
Provide financial administration support to the Finance Manager and wider team as required.
Month end journals, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Accounts payable and receivable processing in MYOB.
Ensure funding tracking spreadsheets are checked and updated regularly and are accurate.
Assist Finance Manager with ensuring that all expenses are regularly reviewed.
Invoice funders as per contract agreements.
Update, maintain and load employee information, in the payroll software.
Maintain, load & calculate payroll data for each payroll run (weekly, fortnightly or one-off pay runs).
Banking is prepared and checked before it is uploaded into the banking software.
IRD requirements GST.

About you :
Previous and relevant experience in a similar position.
MYOB experience would be advantageous.
Great attention to detail, and knowledge of double entry accounting.
Eligibility to live and work in New Zealand.
