Since its inception in 1994, CEA has focused on helping low-income families, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups live in warmer, healthier homes. CEA's mission is not only to reduce energy costs for households but also to contribute to sustainability and environmental conservation by promoting efficient energy use. Through partnerships with local governments and community groups, CEA plays a key role in enhancing social and environmental well-being in the Canterbury region.
Your responsibilities:
Provide financial administration support to the Finance Manager and wider CEA team as required.
Ensure funding tracking spreadsheets are checked and updated regularly and are accurate.
Assist Finance Manager with ensuring that all expenses are regularly reviewed to ensure that suppliers are charging correctly.
Invoice funders as per contract agreements.
Update, maintain and load employee information in the payroll software.
Maintain, load and calculate payroll data for each payroll run (weekly, fortnightly or one-off pay runs).
Complete all payroll related payments such as expense claims, PAYE, etc as required.
Payslips are printed and distributed to staff.
Payroll reports are generated for internal and external purposes.
Banking is prepared and checked before it is uploaded into the banking software.
About you:
Previous/current and relevant experience in a similar position.
MYOB experience would be advantageous.
Great attention to detail.
Ability to work in a small, yet effective team.
