We also have offices in other strong growing communities around the world including the ever-sunny California USA, the plant-growing mecca The Netherlands, and tropical Malaysia.About the RoleWe are seeking a Finance Coordinator to manage and streamline our payroll and accounts payable functions across multiple regions, including New Zealand, the USA, Europe, and Malaysia. In this vital role, you will ensure compliance with payroll regulations, maintain accurate records, and support our financial operations. Your contributions will enhance the overall efficiency of our finance team and ensure our employees are compensated accurately and on time.A Day in the Life Would Look Like:Overseeing all payroll processes for New Zealand while providing support for international payroll through third-party partnerships.Processing and auditing payroll data, resolving any discrepancies, and addressing payroll-related queries promptly.Ensuring timely and accurate processing of creditor invoices, collaborating with the Supply Chain team to resolve any stock purchase issues.Completing daily bank reconciliations for both local and international accounts, maintaining financial accuracy.Reviewing and verifying employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies while preparing reports on expense trends.Actively participating in projects aimed at enhancing financial systems and processes to improve overall operational efficiency.About YouThe ideal candidate will have proven experience in payroll and accounts payable functions, demonstrating a strong understanding of payroll laws and best practices. You will possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Your organizational skills and problem-solving abilities will enable you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting a collaborative finance team.You should have:Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll and accounts payable processes.Proficiency in payroll software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.A thorough understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.A high level of integrity and professionalism, with excellent communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.The BenefitsA healthy, vibrant, work environment, in modern offices, with coffee and fruit, health checks, and flu jabs.
