Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of Wintec? As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in preparing the annual budget and crafting innovative forecasting models. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our organisation's financial health. You will also be championing sustainable practices and equitable outcomes for all our akonga.
In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with budget holders, ensuring they are well-informed and supported in monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts. Your analytical skills will shine as you compile and assess key financial information, helping us navigate financial risks and opportunities. You'll also play a crucial part in preparing insightful reports for the Executive, Faculty, and Finance committees, ensuring timely decision-making.
With a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a focus on equity, you'll help us prioritise the needs of Maori, Pacific, and disabled akonga, fostering an inclusive environment where every voice is heard. The appointing salary for this role will be between $83,800 to $104,700 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
The Finance Business Partner is based in our Finance Team | Te Pukenga reporting to the Head of Finance

To be successful in this role you will have:

Accounting Degree or equivalent
Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Able to exercise judgement in problem solving.
Ability to be innovative, to question the status quo and to adapt to changing circumstances.
Ability to use initiative.
Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills.
