About the role:Reporting to the Commercial Manager the position will:Contribute to annual business plans, the budget process, and forecasting and project analysis.Understand concepts within the business unit and create streamlined processes, seeing opportunities for financial analysis and looking for efficiencies to add value. Focus on compliance and processes to manage business risk, this includes external regulations as well as internal reporting and adherence to policy. Partner with business leaders to add commercial value and lead two Assistant Accountants within a high performing team.About you:An experienced, and fully qualified Chartered Accountant with a relevant qualification.The ability to demonstrate strong technical skills in accounting, commercial, legislative, management reporting and technology.While industry experience is not essential, some exposure to the Agricultural sector would be advantageous.Be a strong communicator who can build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.Preference will be given to those that have worked in a large commercial environment, or in roles with leading professional service firms with a strong commercial focus.
